NOTE: New photos in Fiji Bound of our "resort" also there is a new "Misc Pix" album - stuff we just didn't know what to do with.
Liam took the scenic route to the airport and it was a great ride. The sky was crystal clear for LA and you could see for days. As usual, we were early, but fortunately our VIP card worked again for the Alaska lounge. This was the best one yet! Lots of food and drinks and a pancake machine. Very cool. Had another terrific flight on Virgin America. Getting the exit seats are so worth it. Deidre was at the airport to meet us with hugs and smiles. Drove to Cambridge to distribute some goodies and play with the kids who were over-excited. Finally got on the road for the final hour of our journey home.
Pulled into the driveway at around 11pm and took a deep breath of our own sea air. The house was still standing, most of the plants were still alive, and there was more sand on the beach than when we left. Puttered around for a while and then the moment we had been waiting for for so long. Getting into our own bed. Aaaaahhhhh.
This morning is a gorgeous 67 degrees (warmer than LA). It is very good to be home. And as soon as the wash is done, we can start planning our next journey.
This will be the final entry for this blog. Thank you all for reading along and making it so much fun.
Until our next adventure...
