We left Leigh this morning at around 7:30 and this being Sunday, had a very peaceful drive to the airport. Took some shots of Auckland as we zipped by. Very uneventful flight to Fiji. It was pouring when we landed. Found the driver for Club Fiji and we were off, picking up various resort staff along the road. This is a backpacker type place and we are in an ocean view bure on the beach. Pretty rustic but plenty of room. This place looks deserted. We are headed for the beach BBQ being held inside tonight due to rain.It really seems unreal to us that the New Zealand journey is over. We miss it already. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the sun shines tomorrow. Valentino is picking us up at 10am.
