What are the chances that the Sunday New York Times travel section would have a full page article on fly-fishing in South Island, New Zealand just after Mr. G buys his pack rod??!! Not to mention, the featured destination happens to be on our route. Now it looks like we will be spending some time in Gore on our way to Shag Point - and Mr. G will get his line wet after all. We also recently discovered that Geoff's niece and boyfriend are tramping about New Zealand. We are hoping we can align the stars and our paths will cross.
